The Flow2Go system enables the application of thermal drilling onsite.
The Flow2Go consists of a 6.5kg drill base, as well as a two-gear, 1kW hand drill available in both 230V (EU) and 110V (US) models, which meet all the required specifications for thermal drilling and tapping. A modified collet tool holder is used to safely transfer the required axial force and torque. This mobile unit eliminates the need of a pillar drill and makes onsite drilling and tapping possible. The Flowdrill process remains identical and thus Flow2go creates three times the material thickness for a threaded connection and is ideally suited wherever Flowdrilling is possible.
The Flow2Go was developed for material thickness of 0.8 to 2.5mm and hole sizes of M4 to M8. The hand drill provides overload protection and electronic speed control 0-2600rev/min. The drill base is sturdy and robust, with an infinite height adjustment on a moveable and solid slide.
